My name is Josh Reese, and I am a licensed specialist clinical social worker (LSCSW). I have been a therapist in the mental health field since 2011. I am committed to helping my clients create a meaningful and purposeful-driven life based on their unique life goals.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Kansas, and I have my Master of Social Work from Washburn University. In addition to my schooling, I have 19+ years in the leadership field. My combination and passion for behavioral health and leadership has allowed me to develop a distinguished distinctive blend of therapeutic instruction while providing a motivational course of action for my clients.
I work with individuals (adults and adolescents age 15+), couples and families to provide treatment with a primary focus on male and male identifying relationship challenges, male sexual health, couples and alternative lifestyle relationships. I believe that every individual has the capacity to grow through self-discovery, compassionate support, and implementation of coping skills. I believe strongly in the development of effective and meaningful relationships through connection and vulnerability.
I specialize in coaching through a trauma-informed and strength-based lens, incorporating perseverance and vulnerability. I work extensively with the millennial population, offering a unique coaching perspective steeped in managing anxiety.
The essence of my person and practice incorporates the whole person, infusing your overall health and wellness with introspection and reflection, allowing you to expand on your self-wisdom to enhance your journey of self. I have learned through my own life experiences the value of accepting all of me, all of my history, all of my moments, which has empowered me to build the life I seek. My focus, in working with you, is on the whole person — emotional, physical, social and spiritual.
