My name is Samantha Brummell, and I am a licensed specialist clinical social worker (LSCSW). I have years of experience in helping individuals who suffer with chronic pain, terminal illnesses and other health-related concerns. I have devoted my career to developing my specialization in therapeutic services for people who are diagnosed with cancer, in remission, or struggling with other terminal illnesses.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Community Services with a second major in Gerontology, both from Kansas State University. I have my Master of Social Work from Washburn University.
I work with individuals (adults and seniors 65+), couples and families to provide treatment with a primary focus on cognitive behavioral interventions to help my clients live a meaningful life.
In addition to my work with depression, anxiety and trauma, I have focused my professional career in working with individuals who are suffering from chronic pain, terminal illness and aging concerns. I offer a uniquely empathetic and compassionate therapeutic relationship which allows for my clients to heal, grow and begin to live life again.
